Practical projects creating stronger communities.
Clean water, powered by the sun
Flomina Children’s Home already has a 120-metre borehole, solar panels, batteries, and water tanks. A solar-compatible submersible pump will unlock reliable water for the children and create sustainable income through water sales and a revived car wash.
The project includes pump installation, connection to the existing solar system, independent water testing, and staff training.

Moipei School relies mainly on rainwater harvesting, but dry months leave students and staff without dependable water for drinking, sanitation, food preparation, and agriculture. The project will connect the school to a nearby solarized borehole and create a more resilient water supply.
The proposed water line will serve approximately 623 students and staff while retaining rainwater harvesting as a complementary source.

From water scarcity to safe drinking water
Kajiado Township Consecutive Primary School serves approximately 1,500 students and staff, but relies on purchased and carried water. Phase 1 is funded and underway, creating the solar-powered water source that will underpin the next stage.
Phase 2 will add purification and dedicated solar energy so the school can move from a water source to safe drinking water on site.
